Pool and Jacuzzi inspections

The Association of Danish Holiday House Letters has developed a set of guidelines for the monitoring and control of pools and Jacuzzis in private rented homes.

The guidelines apply to all Members of the Holiday House.

The guidelines:

Information for tenants when booking
Preparation of log (PH, chlorine, etc. may be disclosed)
The bathing rules are displayed on a sign
Water from the dehumidifier and Jacuzzi may not be headed to the pool
Whirlpool must have at least sand filter or 2 cartridge filters
Usage of hygiene tablets should be recorded
Random checks of water quality in 25% of the houses
Supervisory staff must be trained
Use products containing chlorine for disinfection
